Again - long time, no see.
I've been quite busy, but haven't we all?

So, as you have noticed - I've been submitting my new studio photos up slowly. Bit by bit. I'm not satisfied, but well, it was my first time shooting in a studio and with another camera. I also have no knowledge about lightning and all the studio equipment + there was nobody giving me guidance. So yes. I did my best.
About the models: I was only satisfied with Triin (you'll see some better shots soon), but not much with the others. I feel I should start choosing my models a lot more carefully.

Otherwise, things are normal. School is rough. Snow and cold.. desperation.

Oh, and my subscription ended, so sadly I can't add an inspirational feature here. Pity. I feel I don't have time/energy to put another news article together.

Actually I still feel deviantART has turned from quite inspirational to "I've seen this 10 times before". It's all about getting famous. Uhh. Where is originality? Where is improvement (constructive critique!!)? No, let's just do what has already been done before. Simply, because you know it will definitely be liked. But will anyone even remember? I don't think so.
It's sad.
People often forget about the point of this site. I can understand, that you give attention to what you 'like' or 'do not like', but have you ever thought of giving attention to what NEEDS it? I mean.. deviantART <-- can you SEE, that 'art' is written there? Submitting a photo of your dog or a comic sketch you drew during the maths lesson *endless list of those non-art things* is rather an insult to this community, which is for ART! Oh, and under the word 'art' I mean a creation, which is taken seriously by its creator and also the audience. So if you intend to comment "Art is freedom" I will simply ignore it. The same way we could say "Life is freedom", but is it?
Well, but this is my opinion and it has no value/power to change the fact, that this community is rather on its way down.

Thank you for reading.

Best wishes,
Your L.
